1. Agreement to Terms
By using If Found, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree with any part, please don’t use our service.
2. Use of Service
You May:
- Create one personal account
- Attach tags to your own items
- Use our messaging system appropriately
- Transfer tags to new items
You May Not:
- Share account credentials
- Use tags for tracking people without consent
- Misuse the messaging system
- Attempt to hack or disrupt service
- Resell tags without authorisation
3. Account Responsibilities
- You’re responsible for account security
- Provide accurate information
- Update contact details promptly
- Report unauthorised use immediately
4. If Found Tag Usage
- Tags remain property of If Found Ltd
- One-time activation per tag
- Non-transferable between accounts
- No expiry when used normally
5. Liability Limitations
If Found Is Not Responsible For:
- Items not being returned
- Finder misconduct
- Incorrect contact information
- Lost or damaged tags
- Consequential losses
Our Maximum Liability: Limited to the purchase price of tags
6. Finder Terms
When scanning a tag, finders agree to:
- Use information solely to return items
- Not misuse owner contact details
- Act in good faith
7. Intellectual Property
All If Found branding, technology, and content remain our property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute without permission.
8. Payment Terms
- Prices in GBP include VAT
- Payment processed securely
- Refunds per our Return Policy
- No recurring charges
9. Termination
We may suspend accounts that:
- Violate these terms
- Engage in fraudulent activity
- Abuse the service
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by UK law. Disputes will be resolved in UK courts.
11. Changes to Terms
We’ll notify significant changes via email. Continued use indicates acceptance.
